First Class MachinistOur client, a leading manufacturer in the golf industry, is seeking a First Class Machinist to join their team. As a First Class Machinist, you will be part of the Engineering Technology department supporting production by fabricating parts and tooling for high-performance manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong blueprint reading skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: First Class Machinist Location: New Bedford, MA Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) Pay Range: Competitive – based on experienceWhat's the Job?Set up and operate manual machine tools such as lathes, Bridgeports, grinders, milling machines, saws, and drillsFabricate parts and tooling cups based on specificationsCalculate dimensions and tolerances using precision instrumentsMonitor and adjust machines during operationInspect finished parts to ensure conformance to specificationsWhat's Needed?Minimum 3 years of experience in the machinist tradeVocational school graduate in Machine Shop or Machine Tool Technology (or equivalent)Strong blueprint reading and math skillsProficient in using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring toolsGood communication and problem-solving skillsWhat's in it for me?Stable, full-time temporary assignment with growth opportunitiesSupportive and safety-focused work environmentCompetitive pay based on experienceOpportunity to gain experience in a top-tier manufacturing companyCollaborative and innovative team culture
