Job description

MachinistAt Mainstream Engineering, our machinists play a critical role in bringing advanced engineering concepts to life. We are seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Machinist to join our manufacturing team and help produce precision components that support cutting-edge technologies across multiple industries. If you take pride in quality workmanship, enjoy working with advanced CNC equipment, and want to be part of a company where your contributions make an impact, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoSet up and operate Swiss CNC lathes and vertical mills to produce high-precision componentsPerform tooling changes and machine adjustments to maintain efficient productionInterpret engineering drawings and specifications to manufacture parts accuratelyInspect finished components using precision measurement equipment to verify conformance to requirementsIdentify and address quality issues while maintaining high production standardsComplete production records and documentation accuratelyMaintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environmentCollaborate with engineers, programmers, and fellow machinists to support manufacturing goalsWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 3 years of experience operating and setting up Swiss CNC lathesAble to work 3:00pm to 12:00amAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentationProficiency with precision measurement instruments and inspection techniquesStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workAbility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentAbility to work independently with limited supervisionAbility to stand for extended periods throughout the shiftStrong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to continuously learn and develop new skillsWhy Mainstream Engineering?Work with advanced manufacturing technologies and innovative productsBe part of a collaborative team that values craftsmanship and continuous improvementOpportunity to contribute to projects that move from concept to productionStable, growing organization with a strong engineering and manufacturing cultureCompetitive compensation and benefits packageMainstream Engineering Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
