CMM Programmer 2nd ShiftApplied Composites (AC) is seeking a CMM Programmer 2nd Shift who applies knowledge of measurement and program coordinate measurement systems (CMS), utilizing mathematics, and electronics to inspect, CMM measurement and test equipment in the electrical, dimensional, optical, physical, mechanical, environmental, and/or software disciplines to ensure measurement accuracy. Identify and utilize appropriate measurement procedures. Perform corrective actions to address identified measurement problems. Adapt equipment, standards, and procedures to accomplish unique measurements. Maintain calibration standards, Scale Bars and Artifacts. Perform departmental housekeeping to assure neatness and a professional environment.About AC: Come and join the Applied Composites team. If you are looking for a company that values and develops its employees while offering engaging work, Applied Composites may be the place for you.Job Accountabilities:Act appropriately in situations requiring ethical decisions to ensure system integrity and regulatory complianceMaintain professional bearing, attitude and manner at all timesStay current with the advancements in Coordinate Measurement System (CMS) and metrology, quality assurance and engineering, for higher efficiency and lower costMaintain documentation and records, electronic /or hard-copy format, as objective evidence for quality system auditsHave knowledge of Customer Digital Product Definition (DPD) process and procedural requirementsHave knowledge of AS9100 Quality Management SystemOther responsibilities as assignedJob Specifications: Education: Requires a BSCS or BSQA degree or a High School Diploma/GED, plus four (4) years relevant experience and appropriate certifications may be substituted for meeting educational requirements only Years' Experience: Requires three (3) years' experience performing inspection within a Quality certification organization or other regulated environmentSkills:Ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsVerisurf experience a plusKnowledge of tool calibration and tracking of toolsCMM experience, operating, and programmingAble to work accurately in a fast-paced, hectic, ever-changing environment with strong attention to detailDemonstrated ability to monitor own work to ensure quality, accuracy, and thoroughness.Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skillsAble to self-motivate and work both independently and as part of a teamOperate Optical Comparator desirableStatistical Process Control desirableAdvanced knowledge of inspection/metrologyContribute towards continuous improvement with regards to Quality, efficiency, and customer-focused results20/20 vision required with or without corrective lensesManual dexterity to handle tools and equipment of different sizesProficient in the use of hand measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.Willingness and ability to embrace new inspection tools and methodologyAbility to multi-task, perform efficiently, and independentlyBenefits: At Applied Composites, we recognize how important your career and benefits are to you and your family.
