Machinist And Apprentice Positions AvailableDelta Precision Components, LLC (including Delta Gear, LLC and Delta Research, LLC) manufactures complex aerospace components, assemblies, precision gears, and machined parts for the aerospace, defense, and automotive industries. With facilities in Livonia, Michigan, Delta utilizes advanced CNC machining, gear cutting, grinding, and finishing technologies. We are growing and ready to add new team members to our crew!Positions available for 1st, 2nd and flex shift. Competitive pay! Signing bonus! Outstanding team members!Work responsibilities include but are not limited to:Set up and safely operate CNC equipmentHold tight gear tolerancesMonitor process to ensure product qualityPerform inspections using precision measuring toolsMaintain SPC documentation and production standardsPerform polishing, cleaning, and corrosion prevention tasksPerform preventative maintenance actions for assigned machinesQualifications:High School Diploma or GED. We welcome 5+ years hands-on CNC/Machining experience, especially in aerospace manufacturing, in lieu of the education requirement.CNC experience requiredUnderstanding of GD&TAbility to inspect quality and make adjustments to maintain specificationsDemonstrated commitment to working safelyPhysical requirements:Wear required personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, etc.)Frequent standing, bending, and twistingOccasional lift of 25 lbs.
