Systems Installation And Maintenance TechnicianWe specialize in Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) that provide advanced capabilities to serve the defense industry. With a focus on innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, we are committed to delivering RMS solutions that exceed expectations and set new standards for performance and reliability.The work involves setting up and operating a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, planers, and precision grinders to make metal parts, mechanisms, tools, or machines to exacting tolerances and dimensions. It also includes interpreting blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications; determining sequence of operations, number of cuts required, and method of setup; using a variety of machinist's hand tools and precision measuring instruments; making standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, feeds, and speeds; measuring, marking, and scribing dimensions and reference points to lay out stock for machining; fitting and assembling precision parts into mechanical equipment and determining material, parts, and equipment required. It may also involve modifying numerically controlled programs on numerically controlled (NC) machines and monitoring and verifying quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Typically requires completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.We are seeking a dedicated Systems Installation and Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves a range of tasks related to the installation, setup, and maintenance of complex systems and equipment.
