Machinist, MaintenanceLocation: USA CT Pawcatuck Full Part/Time: Full time Job Req: RQ Type of Requisition: Regular Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: None Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: Secret Public Trust/Other Required: None Job Family: SCA Job Qualifications: Skills: Blueprints, CNC Machines, CNC Mastercam, Milling Machines, Teamwork Certifications: None Experience: 1 + years of related experience US Citizenship Required: YesQualifications Required:High school diploma or GED; 1+years of machining experienceAbility to interpret technical manuals, procedures, blueprints, diagrams, and perform basic layout functionsIndividuals are required to possess their own basic hand toolsExperience including setup, operating, with vertical and/or horizontal 5 axis CNC millsPreferred:Strong mathematical skillsVocational, Technical, Community Colleges or Apprentice programsMachine technology educational programShipbuilding/Marine Advanced Manufacturing Institute (SAMI) program completionSkillsExcellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsSelf-starter with good problem solving skillsAbility to work in a collaborative and team environment to meet organizational goalPhysical Qualifications Climbing, Crawling, Kneeling, Light Lifting, Medium Lifting, Pulling, Pushing, Reaching, Stooping, Twisting Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain Secret security clearance.
