MachinistEast Rochester, NY$25-$38/hr (Based on Experience)Monday-Thursday | 5:00 AM-3:30 PM? Optional Overtime Available on FridaysAre you an experienced machinist looking for a long-term opportunity with a stable manufacturer offering a 4-day work week, competitive pay, and room for advancement? We are seeking skilled Machinists to join a growing team in East Rochester. This is a permanent, direct hire position offering excellent benefits and a climate-controlled work environment.Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment including lathes, mills, grinders, and Wire EDM machines.Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T, and work instructions.Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment.Perform machine offsets, tooling changes, and setup adjustments to maintain tight tolerances and quality standards.Troubleshoot machining and production issues to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.Maintain tooling, fixtures, and equipment while following safe manufacturing practices.Support continuous improvement initiatives and work collaboratively with production teams.Qualifications:3+ years of machinist experience preferred.Experience with CNC machining, setup, and operation.Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T.Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principles.Familiarity with feeds, speeds, tooling, and machining processes.Stable work history and recent hands-on machining experience.Benefits & Perks:Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance14 Paid HolidaysShift Premium Available for Off-Shift SchedulesClear 4-Level Machinist Career PathAdvancement and Professional Development OpportunitiesClimate-Controlled Manufacturing FacilityClean, safety-focused work environmentIf you're looking for a company that values craftsmanship, quality, and employee growth while offering a consistent 4-day schedule and optional overtime, we'd love to hear from you.
