MachinistDuties & Responsibilities:Machine parts from prints and modelsVerify dimensions, alignments and clearances of tools, dies, fixtures and gauges using measuring instrumentsSet-up and operate machining equipment such as lathes, EDM, milling machines, grinders, drill presses and sawsFit and assemble parts to make, repair or modify required toolingMeasure parts using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectivesQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentFormal training is a plusAbility to read and understand blueprints, sketches or computer-aided drafting (CAD) filesMust be able to stand for up to 8 to 10 hours per dayMust be able to occasionally lift up to 70 poundsEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
