Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.A Machinist Technician is responsible for providing fabrication support activities including loading robots and ensuring cleanliness of area. Position will utilize hand and power tools to remove burrs and slag from machined parts.Responsibilities:Utilize Plex system to determine product and procedure accuracyProvide support to operatorsRemove sharp edges/weld spatter from the entire part with hand tools and pneumatic grinders/buffersPerform final quality inspection of parts prior to painting processesPrepare part for transport to other departmentsDaily inspection of equipment to ensure safety and efficiencyRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalentAbility to stand for prolonged periodsAbility to perform repetitive operationsAbility to lift up to 35 lbs.Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate these skillsets:Blueprint reading experienceAbility to work as part of a team and undergo cross-trainingEffective communications skills*Relocation is not available for this position.All training will be on 1st shift for up to 2 months before moving to hired shift.Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position.
