Machinist Position$22-$26/ hourBenefits of working with Express:Medical, dental, and vision benefitsWeekly paychecksWorking with a dedicated & responsive teamMonthly referral bonuses & moreResponsibilities of the Machinist:Interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand job requirementsSet up and adjust CNC (Computer Numerical Control) and conventional machines such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drillsProgram, calibrate, and troubleshoot CNC machines to achieve accurate and precise dimensionsPerform precision machining tasks to fabricate metal and plastic parts according to specificationsMonitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance and quality outputInspect finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and make any required adjustmentsMaintain and clean machines regularly to ensure their longevity and efficiencyCollaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and meet production schedulesAdhere to safety guidelines and company policies to create a secure work environmentQualifications of the Machinist:Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role with hands-on experience in operating CNC and conventional machineryProficient in reading technical blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawingsKnowledge of CNC programming and troubleshootingStrong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and precision measurement instrumentsExcellent mathematical skills and the ability to make complex calculationsDetail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and precisionPhysical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and operate machinery for extended periodsGood communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environmentHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training is a plus
