Now Hiring: MachinistSt. Joseph, MO Local Fabrication Company Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity Weekly PayExpress Employment Professionals is recruiting a Machinist for a local fabrication company!If you have machining experience, enjoy working with precision equipment, and take pride in producing quality parts, this could be a great opportunity to put your skills to work with an established manufacturing team.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate machining equipmentRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work ordersMeasure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specificationsLoad and unload materials and partsMake machine adjustments as neededMonitor equipment during productionIdentify and troubleshoot basic machining issuesPerform routine equipment checks and maintenanceMaintain accurate production and quality standardsFollow all company safety proceduresKeep the work area clean and organizedSkills RequiredAbility to read blueprints and technical drawingsComfortable using measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and micrometersStrong mechanical aptitudeGood math and measurement skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a production teamStrong problem-solving skillsDependable attendance and work ethicExperiencePrevious machining, CNC, fabrication, or manufacturing experience is preferred.
