Amsive OperatorAmsive is a leader in high-volume print and mail manufacturing with over 40 years of experience. Production is completed in-house using modern high-speed print and mail manufacturing equipment. Our facilities are clean, well-lit, and temperature controlled. At Amsive, results matter. We offer career opportunities in print and mail production, with medical, dental, vision insurance and a competitive 401K.Location: 605 Territorial Drive Bolingbrook, IL 60440 Second Shift Hours: 3pm - 3am, with required additional hours, overtime and weekends Pay: Starting at $19.00 per hour based on experience and skillsWhat We Are Looking For:The Operator is required to operate insert, mail and lettershop production equipment. While meeting productivity standards and performance requirements in a team environment.What You'll Be Doing:Set-up, operating and minor maintenance of insert equipmentAble to operate machine(s) independently for all types of jobsInsert machine set up basic jobsConsistently achieves expected throughput/efficiencyAble to run 100% mail well for critical clientsTrouble-shooting equipmentProvide proper machine adjustments to meet established standardsEnsure proper sorting according to USPS requirementsReconciling/recording for all outputAccurately use job data capture to track timeShow a strong quality of workMaintain an organized, safe, and clean work areaEffectively use the quality control procedures monitoring quality of the final outputReviews schedule for jobs assigned daily; reports issues back to SupervisorFollow all plant, department and work area safety rules and operation proceduresWho You Are:2 years experience working with high speed production/manufacturing equipmentMail inserting machine experience is strongly preferredExcellent work history of longevity, attendance record and punctualityPosition requires High School/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge of USPS regulationsAbility to read and understand job ticketsEnglish fluency in reading, writing, and speaking requiredBilingual Spanish speaking preferred.Supervisory Responsibilities: NoneWork Environment: Position operates in a regulated manufacturing print/mail production facilityPhysical Demands:Stand and walk for up to 12 hours, with frequent bending, kneeling, and reachingMust be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 poundsPerform repetitive motions in a fast-paced production environmentSecurity Clearance: Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
