Job description
A dynamic opportunity awaits a skilled pharmacist at a rapidly expanding mail order pharmacy located in the Scottsdale area. This contract position, with potential for transition to a permanent role, is ideal for a dedicated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values precision and teamwork.
Location: Scottsdale, AZ (commute consideration is essential)
Contract Duration: Immediate start, 13 weeks
Schedule:
Flexible shifts between 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM and 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Possible Saturday coverage required
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately check and verify prescriptions, maintaining a pace of 60-80 checks per hour
Count, dispense, and label medications with precision
Supervise pharmacy technicians ensuring compliance and quality control
Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant pharmacy environment following Arizona Board of Pharmacy regulations
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid Arizona pharmacist license
Strong ability to stand and stay focused throughout the workday
Exceptionally detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Dependable, punctual, and accountable with a positive, friendly demeanor
Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
Effective multitasking, problem solving, and prioritization abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Commitment to continual professional development and learning
