As a Mail Associate, you support our client by receiving and processing physical mail in a secure, highly process-driven environment. This role focuses on accuracy, confidentiality, and individual contribution, while working as part of a mid-sized, friendly team. The work is structured and predictable, with a moderate pace and opportunities to learn multiple roles through cross-training. Accuracy, organization, and confidentiality are critical in this role.
In this position, you will be cross-trained to handle a variety of mail room tasks including:
Receive incoming mail deliveries, sort and count mail pieces, shred materials per process requirements, able to lift trays and boxes of mail
Open mail using a slicer machine, prep documents for scanning
Operate and monitor scanner equipment and use computer software to track and release completed files
Review scanned documents for quality control and perform some manual data entry as needed
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience in a mail room or similar role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient computer skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team setting
