Job Summary
The Mailroom Associate will support a professional office environment by operating high-volume copy, print, and document imaging equipment, managing incoming and outgoing mail, completing finishing tasks, and assisting internal customers with job status updates and completed order delivery. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, hands‑on training opportunities, and the potential to grow into a long‑term role with a supportive team and steady workflow.
Key Responsibilities
Operate high-volume copy, print, scanning, and document imaging equipment to complete daily production requests.
Perform bindery, finishing, paper cutting, drilling, shrink‑wrapping, filing, and related document support tasks.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, shipments, office supply distribution, and internal deliveries across the facility.
Inspect copiers and mailroom equipment daily, clear paper jams, track issues, and coordinate service calls as needed.
Maintain accurate logs for billing, job meter readings, production tracking, and supply inventory.
Provide professional customer service by answering questions, sharing job status updates, and supporting room setups or light maintenance tasks as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour, W2.
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
Location: Bridge View Drive, Charleston, SC 29405.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Operate high-volume copy, print, and document imaging machinery.
Manage mailroom operations, shipments, supply distribution, and internal deliveries.
Maintain production logs, billing records, meter readings, and inventory documentation.
Provide customer service support for print, mailroom, and document service requests.
1 to 2 years of related experience in mailroom, print production, records management, administrative support, or office services.
Ability to use copy, print, scanning, and basic office equipment with accuracy and efficiency.
Strong attention to detail when handling documents, logs, mail, shipments, and supply records.
Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues, clear paper jams, and communicate repair needs.
Professional communication skills and a customer‑focused approach when supporting internal teams.
Ability to lift, move, organize, and deliver mail, supplies, printed materials, and completed orders as needed.
Reliable attendance and the ability to work a Monday through Friday daytime schedule.
