This position will work within teams to troubleshoot production issues and provide preventative maintenance to equipment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Following health and safety rules
Wear personal protective equipment
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment (Air Compressor, Rolling Stock, Production Machinery, HVAC)
Able to troubleshoot machinery utilizing schematics
Perform timely repairs on hand tools (e.G. drills, saws)
Communicate needs with purchasing department proactively
Repair/rebuild welding leads
Use knowledge to perform maintenance during production when there is an issue
Practice proper Lock Out/Tag Out procedures if applicable
Fill Loctite cartridges for skins
Store tools and materials in proper locations when not in use
Maintain clean and safe work area
Required Skills/Abilities:
Use various power and hand tools, experience preferred
Read and use a tape measure
Willingness to cross-train between departments
Read and follow work instructions
Able to work 40 - 60 hours a week. Schedule is 7am - 5:30pm with a half hour lunch, Monday - Friday and every other Saturday from 7am - 3pm.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Good attendance is required
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing, reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting.
Must be able to move up to 75 pounds at times.
