Amberwoods of Farmington seeks an excellent Maintenance Assistant join our team!
Our facility values our employees in a supportive, customer-service-oriented environment. We are located within proximity to I-84 and a fifteen-minute drive to downtown Hartford and on a bus line. We are committed to excellence and are always looking for dedicated health care professionals to join our team. We maintain high staffing patterns.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Completes repairs in the nursing facility timely and properly, including minor plumbing, limited electrical, wall repairs, minor mechanical and minor equipment repairs
Completes preventative maintenance tasks as directed, per schedule
Works on small renovation projects as needed
Performs room changes
Qualifications
1 years of maintenance experience in skilled nursing facility or apartment building
Very organized.
Fast worker.
Excellent customer service
Good communicator
Good at using technology – apps, programs, TV programming, etc
Dependable with attendance
Pass background check

Salary:
$24 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week, plus on any hours done on call
