Join a team that helps deliver essential solutions to customers across North America while offering stability, growth, and advancement opportunities.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Maintenance Assistant Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 16.00 / hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredFirst Shift (Monday through Saturday from 06:00am to 04:30pm)Assist the Maintenance Manager with daily production and machine maintenance tasks.Perform troubleshooting and repair of production equipment to minimize downtime.Execute preventive maintenance (PMs) on machinery and systems as scheduled.Support general upkeep and cleanliness of the maintenance area and equipment.Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.Maintenance Assistant Qualifications:Ability to work the specified full-time, temporary schedule, including Saturdays.Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.Strong work ethic and reliability.Prior experience in maintenance, building maintenance, or a general labor role within a warehouse or production environment.Familiarity with electrical systems.Proficiency or experience in various welding techniques, including TIG, Structural, Stick/Wire, and MIG welding.Experience with production equipment troubleshooting and repair.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
