Maintenance Assistant: Part TimeValley View - BELLEVILLE, PA 17004Maintenance AssistantValley View is seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant to help maintain the safety of residents, staff, and property. In this role, you will monitor building security, perform light custodial and maintenance tasks, and assist staff and residents as needed. This position is essential in creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone in our community.What You'll DoConduct building rounds to ensure doors are locked, security systems are operational, and no unauthorized personnel are presentMonitor and investigate unusual observations, taking appropriate action or reporting as necessaryComplete door lock and security checklists to document roundsPatrol Valley View Village and parking lots using a company vehicle, assisting as needed and identifying repair needsEscort staff safely to their vehicles upon requestOpen buildings for authorized entriesPerform light custodial tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash in assigned areasReport accidents, incidents, or maintenance issues promptly to the supervisorMake minor repairs or submit maintenance requests as neededPerform other related duties as assignedWhat You BringReliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safetyAbility to observe, document, and respond appropriately to unusual situationsGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to operate a company vehicle safelyBasic custodial and maintenance skillsWhy Join Valley View?At Valley View, you'll be part of a mission-driven, faith-based community where your work directly contributes to the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents and staff.
