Salary StatementEstimated Starting Salary Range: USD $18.98/Hr. - USD $31.64/Hr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.DescriptionProviding maintenance, repair, installation, and fabrication support to various skilled trades personnel while learning new craftsRequirementsHigh school diploma or General Education Development (GED) diploma and at least two years of job-related experienceProficiency with common hand tools, portable power tools, and pneumatic toolsDemonstrated experience assisting with or performing three or more of the following: facility maintenance; vehicle maintenance; construction; mechanical repair; installation of ancillary communications equipment (i.e., brackets, mounts, harnesses, cables, et cetera) into tactical ground and/or air platforms; carpentry/woodworkingDemonstrated experience assisting or supporting one or more of the following skilled trades: sheet metal workers, welders, painters, assemblers/fabricators, woodworkers, or riggersAbility to lift/carry/move/hold up to 30 poundsDesired SkillsAbility to read and understand blueprints, schematics, manuals with minimal assistanceClearance InformationSRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVELTravel RequirementsNo more than five business days per calendar yearAbout UsScientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
