Maintenance AssistantThe Maintenance Assistant is responsible for the routine upkeep of all areas of a facility both inside and outside the building. These responsibilities include but are not limited to troubleshooting HVAC systems, lighting, indoor climate control, emergency cleaning and upkeep requests. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.Essential duties and responsibilities:Perform general clean up of all areas of the building as directedManage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space and parking lotComplete non-routine cleaning according to specified job ordersRemove rubbish and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-upHandle emergency cleaning and upkeep requestsEnsure rooms are maintained and fully equippedTroubleshoot issues with HVAC system, lighting and indoor climate control as necessaryEnsure building safety rules are implemented and maintainedSkills:PreferredProblem solving abilitiesExpertTechnicalExpertEducationPreferredHigh School or better.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
