This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.The Carpenter performs skilled maintenance, repair, and finish carpentry work to support industrial and commercial facilities. This role requires expertise in woodworking, facility repairs, and blueprint interpretation to maintain safe and functional work environments.This position will work 2nd shift.In this job, you will:Repair and maintain various structures and equipment in industrial and commercial establishments, working from detailed blueprints, drawings, and oral instructionsPerform rough-to-finish carpentry work on buildings, office partitions, benches, scaffolding, framework, platforms, and trimOperates woodworking tools such as electrical saws, routers, drills, planers, lathes, jointers, molders, borers, and sanders.Makes shop computations relating to dimensions of work and selects necessary materialsInstalls pictures, whiteboards, monitors, and other similar items.Performs basic repairs of ceiling tiles, drywall, and roofsOther duties as assignedIf this job description reads like it was written specifically for you, consider joining our team!Basic Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance4 years carpentry-related experienceAbility to inspect, identify, and provide solutions to repair systemsPreferred Qualifications:Active DOD Secret ClearanceLarge/Multi-Site Facilities Carpentry experiencePrimary Level Salary Range: $66,600.00 - $111,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
