Job description
Controls/ElectricianPlans, directs and coordinates electrical/controls repairs on the equipment to ensure on-time product shipments.Review projects including quotes, job specifications and resolves any differences in-betweenSystems Architecture including non-standard material and control panel power requirements & distributionsReviews specifications and standard practices – inclusive of internal hardwired and logic standards.Material ordering responsibilities, including advanced ordersAssisting with InstallationDebugging, launch, standbyAbility to work on a team and independently.Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.Coordinates with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.Implements productivity and efficiency improvements.Assists in establishing advanced quality engineering standards and process.Takes the lead role in project development and implementationParticipates in cross-functional teams procuring new technology, equipment, and processes, launching new processes and production equipment.Development and application of advanced technology.Empowerment to initiate corrective actions when problems which impact the quality of the product and /or quality system are identified.Coordinates all activities of assigned project to meet timing and budget constraints.Responsible for adherence to all company safety and housekeeping rules.High School Graduate or equivalent, with 3 – 5 years of electrical and controls experience. Must have strong analytical skills, problem solving skills and communication skills.Physical demands required: Occasional lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, and fingering. Environmental conditions: Exposure to noise, atmospheric conditions and moving mechanical parts of equipment, tools or machinery.
