Maintenance And Custodial TechnicianThe Granite YMCA is seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance and Custodial Technician to help ensure our facility remains safe, clean, and fully operational for our members, staff, and community. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes pride in their work, and values contributing to a mission-driven organization.Open shifts are Monday - Friday 5:00a - 10:00aResponsibilities:Maintain the building and grounds in a safe, clean, and functional condition through routine maintenance and repairPerform light technical work based on skillsetComplete daily cleaning tasks across locker rooms, restrooms, offices, studios, classrooms, and common areasMonitor and maintain facility cleanliness, including trash removal, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and restocking suppliesSupport grounds maintenance such as mowing, snow removal, equipment movement, and outdoor setup for eventsAssist with general building safety and security monitoringServe as a primary point of contact for day-to-day facility needs and minor repairsMaintain awareness of branch programs and events to proactively support facility needsQualifications:General knowledge of building maintenance and repair (multi-trade experience preferred)Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasksStrong problem-solving and communication skillsPhysical ability to lift, move equipment, and perform manual tasksAvailability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as neededBenefits/Perks:Free family YMCA membershipFlexible schedulingPaid training and leadership development opportunitiesTuition discounts to select NH and online schoolsRetirement savings plan options (for employees 18+)
