Job Summary:
The Gardens at Cedarwood, a compassionate healthcare organization, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team in Franklin, Massachusetts. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facility to provide a safe and clean environment for our patients, families, and staff.
About the Role:
The Maintenance Director will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of maintenance personnel, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. You will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner, while also maintaining a focus on patient satisfaction and safety. Your exceptional leadership skills will be essential in managing a team of technicians and subcontractors to complete projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance personnel
Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly and efficiently
Plan, organize, and prioritize maintenance tasks and projects
Develop and manage maintenance budgets
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes
Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth operation
Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and staff
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role
Proven leadership and supervisory skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
