The Maintenance Director will be responsible for maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for our residents and staff. The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, and knowledgeable about general building maintenance and regulatory requirements within a healthcare setting.

Maintenance Director Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily maintenance and repair needs of the facility
Perform and coordinate preventative maintenance
Ensure the building, equipment, and grounds remain safe and properly maintained
Supervise maintenance staff and outside contractors
Maintain required maintenance records and inspection documentation
Respond promptly to maintenance concerns and emergencies
Ensure compliance with applicable safety, fire, and healthcare regulations
Collaborate with facility leadership to address operational needs
Qualifications for Maintenance Director:
Previous experience as a Maintenance Director is preferred
Healthcare, nursing home, or long-term care maintenance experience is strongly preferred
Knowledge of general repairs, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and preventative maintenance
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and respond to urgent facility needs
Must be dependable, professional, and committed to maintaining a safe environment
