Maintenance Director
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Maintenance Director to join our team. As a Maintenance Director, you will play a vital role in ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our community, ensuring that our residents and staff have a safe and comfortable living and working environment.
Responsibilities:
Oversight of all maintenance and repair activities, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
Development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime
Management of maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance
Coordinating repairs and maintenance with outside vendors and contractors
Ensuring compliance with all safety codes, regulations, and company policies
Managing inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
Collaborating with other departments to ensure that maintenance and upkeep is aligned with the overall goals of the community
Maintaining a safe and clean environment for our residents and staff
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
Experience in maintenance or a related field
Knowledge of local and national building codes and regulations
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Physical ability to perform maintenance and repair tasks
