If you enjoy solving complex electrical challenges, working with advanced industrial equipment, and playing a critical role in plant reliability, this is an opportunity you won't want to miss.You'll earn $34 per hour and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes competitive pay, medical, dental, vision, a non-contributory pension, a 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, life and insurance, and a clothing allowance.If you're looking for a rewarding career with a company that's invested in its employees, keep reading!ABOUT THIS MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN ROLEAs our Maintenance Electrician, you will ensure safe and efficient plant operations by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment up to 480V. Your responsibilities include maintaining motors, controls, MCCs, and VFDs, diagnosing PLC-controlled equipment, and interpreting electrical schematics. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to equipment failures to minimize downtime, calibrate process instrumentation, and document activities in the CMMS. Adhering to OSHA, NFPA 70E, LOTO, and confined space procedures, you will work closely with operations and maintenance teams to enhance equipment reliability.OUR IDEAL MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIANHigh school diploma or GEDJourneyman Electrician license or equivalent industrial electrical experience3+ years of industrial maintenance electrical experienceStrong troubleshooting skills involving motors, controls, VFDs, PLCs, and instrumentationNFPA 70E- Electrical Safety in Workplace TrainingAbility to read electrical drawings, P&IDs, and technical documentationAbility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and participate in a 24-hour on-call rotationAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to climb ladders, stairs, and work at heightsAbility to work in hot, cold, noisy, and dusty industrial environmentsAbility to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) QualificationsExperience in ethanol, food processing, grain handling, chemical processing, or other industrial manufacturing environmentsExperience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI systems, and industrial automationKnowledge of process instrumentation, calibration practices, and industrial networkingExperience using CMMS software (E.G SAP PM, Maximo, FIIX, or Similar)Arc Flash certification or completed arc flash hazard analysis trainingWHO WE AREFounded in 2005, CORN, LP is more than just an ethanol plant; we're a mainstay in Iowa's agricultural economy and a pioneer in sustainable energy production.
