Job description
Industrial Maintenance ElectricianKeep Production Running. Solve Problems. Build the Future.In this hands-on role, you'll work with advanced automation systems, electrical equipment, robotics, PLCs, presses, CNC machines, and facility systems to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency.What You'll DoTroubleshooting and repairing electrical, electronic, and automated equipmentInstalling and maintaining facility electrical systems, wiring, conduit, and power distributionSupporting machinery such as conveyors, presses, CNC equipment, robots, welders, and other automated systemsDiagnosing equipment failures and identifying root causes to minimize downtimeProgramming, troubleshooting, and modifying PLCs and automation controlsWorking with Allen-Bradley and other programmable controller platformsMaintaining electrical motors, transformers, lighting systems, sensors, and related componentsInstalling, repairing, and maintaining pneumatic systems and machine controlsSupporting preventive and predictive maintenance programsDocumenting repairs, maintenance activities, and system improvementsHelping improve equipment reliability through continuous improvement initiativesAssisting operators and maintenance team members by sharing troubleshooting knowledge and best practicesRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation systemsExperience with PLC programming and diagnosticsKnowledge of industrial controls, motors, sensors, relays, and power distribution systemsPhysical RequirementsStanding and walking for extended periodsReaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and stretchingWorking both indoors and outdoors as neededClimbing stairs and accessing equipment platformsLifting and carrying up to 50 pounds occasionallyUsing a computer and completing electronic documentationDistinguishing colors, reading detailed information, and adjusting visual focus when working on equipmentAbout Cardinal StaffingAt Cardinal Staffing, a Sure-Staff Company, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
