That's the kind of culture that has earned us a place on Fortune's 100 Best Companies to Work For® list every year since 2014.The Maintenance Equipment Assembler performs general equipment assembly, as well as light repairs and maintenance on plant equipment, as directed by work orders, inspection lists, or the Maintenance Supervisor.You'll thrive in this position if you are:Exhaustively meticulous: You have an unrelenting attention to detail, leaving nothing to chance while understanding what deserves your immediate attention and what can wait.Adaptable: You're at ease in a fast-paced environment and able to effortlessly change direction when priorities shift, learning to perform new tasks as required for business needs and work extended hours if necessary.A team player: While you're a capable self-manager, you thrive when you're part of a team and don't mind getting your hands dirty on your own if needed.Self-Starter and Creative Problem Solver: You have an understanding of current system needs and operations as well as an outstanding ability to think outside the box and use resources at hand to effortlessly get to the bottom of an issue: big or small.Responsibilities:Assemble equipment to meet production demands.Lubricate equipment and perform machine inspections.Complete reports documenting work performed.Repair conveyor belts.Maintain a clean work area and perform cleaning tasks in assigned areas.Provide suggestions to improve processes, procedures, and departmental operations in support of company goals.Follow all food safety standards and legal requirements.Maintain a positive and constructive work environment within the department and across other departments while promoting teamwork.Work safely and comply with all safety requirements.Participate in monthly departmental meetings.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Knowledge and experience with any CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form.Ability to work in cold temperature environments as low as -35 degrees.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.What we prefer:Industrial maintenance, electrical and/or electronic training/experience.Benefits:Medical, Dental & VisionEligible for benefits first day of the month following 60 days of service401K with company match2 weeks of vacation which increases to 3 weeks starting in your 5th yearSick time25%-35% discount when dining as a guestAbout the Company:The Cheesecake Factory Bakery creates over 35,000 delicious cheesecakes per day across our two facilities in Calabasas, CA and Rocky Mount, NC plus other baked products for our restaurants, international licensees, and third-party bakery customers.
