Learn more at SummaryOversees all fires safety department areas of responsibility under the direction of the Unit Director/Fire Safety Assistant Director. This is a Swing Shift schedule and may need to cover other shifts and holidays as needed/required. Mon/Tues 12am to 9am; OFF - Wednesday; Thurs/Fri/Sat 4pm to 1am; OFF - Sunday.Essential Duties And Responsibilities:Understand and implement Fire & Life Safety PoliciesImplement and manage Building Fire Safety PlansPerform ILSM assessment and document preparationManage and implement hot works programManage and review above ceiling permitsManage fire stopping programManage and implement clear corridor programParticipate in event walk-throughs to ensure life safety complianceParticipate in Environment of Care rounds and required follow-up for corrective workManage and review lab inspections and required follow-up for corrective workMaintain all documentation of programs of responsibility Fire Marshal staff to include, but not limited to (if applicable):Shift staffing level and weekly payroll submissionsManage and implement fire drill programManage and implement in-service training programManage and implement preventive maintenance programs, PM's and BMP'sManage and review all Fire Marshal daily reports and Occurrence reportsPerform necessary audits to ensure full compliance with joint commission standards and all governing agenciesPerform all Manager responsibilities as requested by the Director/Assistant Director of Fire SafetyQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
