Job description
We are seeking an experienced, hands on Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team at a food manufacturing and distribution facility. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of production equipment, packaging lines, facility systems, and material‑handling equipment.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a food production or food processing environment, with a strong understanding of production line equipment, mechanical and electrical systems, and preventive maintenance programs. This role requires a leader who can manage a team of 6 or more employees, minimize equipment downtime, maintain a safe working environment, and ensure equipment operates reliably in accordance with food safety and sanitation requirements.
Salary:
$90,000 - $110,000 per year
Shift: First
Work hours: 10 AM - 6 PM

Responsibilities
Oversee daily maintenance operations for food production equipment, processing machinery, packaging lines, conveyors, and facility systems.
Manage the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and upkeep of production and distribution equipment.
Develop, implement, and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce unplanned downtime.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and coordinate timely repairs to minimize production interruptions.
Identify recurring equipment failures, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Maintain equipment performance, reliability, and operational readiness to support production and distribution schedules.
Oversee maintenance of refrigeration, compressed air, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other facility infrastructure as applicable.
