About the Position Our client is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to help keep fleet vehicles and equipment roadworthy and ready for service. This on-site role performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, welding, and fabrication in a shop environment.
Pay & Schedule Details $24.29 per hour. $1.00 per hour night-shift differentialDay shift: 7:00 a.M. to 4:30 p.M.Night shift: 3:30 p.M. to midnightWeekly payOvertime available for hours worked over 40

Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment.Review driver vehicle inspection reports and address identified maintenance concerns.Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and electrical wiring.Perform welding and metal fabrication work.Follow all safety rules and regulations and participate in scheduled safety meetings.Maintain a clean, organized shop using 5S principles.Respond to roadside service calls for disabled vehicles when required.Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements 3-5 years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.High school diploma or GED.Must provide and maintain personal mechanic tools.
Preferred Qualifications Class A CDL preferred.Welding or metal fabrication experience, or technical schooling.Experience troubleshooting electrical wiring.Strong hydraulic troubleshooting skills.Detail-oriented and self-motivated approach to work.
