Project CoordinatorAustin is a leader in the Industrial Services market. We have developed and deployed safety and productivity focused technology that is utilized to drive value for our customers.Project Coordinators serve as an interface between Austin Site Managers, tech users, customers, and internal business units to drive customer satisfaction. This role reports directly to an Operations Manager and supports our Operations team with key performance indicator (KPI) development, tracking, and reporting.Functional Areas of ResponsibilityContract administrationCraft RecruitmentKPI Analysis and reportingEquipment managementPlanning and Scheduling managementRevenue and cost forecastingCompliance with company policies and proceduresCareer ProgressionProject Coordinator – 18-24 monthsAssistant Operations Manager – 2-3 yearsSite Manager – Small Projects – 2-4 yearsSite Manager – 3-5 yearsOperations ManagerIdeal Education, Skills, and Background4-year degree in Construction Management or Engineering.Demonstrated collegiate-level computer skills, mathematics, communication skills, and technical writing, with an aptitude for leadership and mastering additional skills as required.Industrial Maintenance or Construction Experience.Demonstrated capacity to identify opportunities for improvement, and driving the change needed to implement those improvements.Specific Duties and ResponsibilitiesQuantity reportingReview submittals and customer procured materials and equipment for proper coordination and adherence to the plans and specificationsAttend progress, planning, and safety meetingsPerform a variety of tasks associated with managing daily execution of maintenance and small capital operationsPrepare customer required documentsAssures AR/AP processes are properly functioningSchedulingEnsure timely procurement and delivery of all required construction materials and permanent materials in support of project schedule requirements.Assist in creating project and proposal schedulesUpdate progress in support of schedule reportingAssist superintendent with 3-week look ahead schedules.EstimatingPerforms preliminary project reviews and supports estimating team on site project needsSolicitation of subcontractor and vendor bid proposalsEvaluation of subcontractor and vendor bidsMaintenance OperationsProvide supervision and coordination of craft workforceSupports revenue planning, forecasting and budget analysis for the site managerAssist superintendent with day to day activities such as permitting, craft forecasting, and FPA (field productivity analysis)Assist superintendent in the development of job plansReview daily timesheets to ensure accurate job cost dataPerform safety observations and ensure correction of hazardous conditionsPerform quality inspections of self-perform work and subcontractor work to ensure compliance with plans and specificationsTechnicalFour-year degree in a technical field of studySupports the development and reporting of the site maintenance KPI scorecardLeads action plans to sustain KPIs within targetBasic understanding of engineering or construction principleOtherPerform other duties as assignedPosition Specific Success FactorsAnalyze and ReasonPlanning and OrganizingBuilding TrustCustomer FocusAustin Industrial is an Equal Opportunity Employer.See the "Know Your Rights" poster available in English and Spanish.No Third-Party Inquiries PleaseThis Company does not accept and will not consider unsolicited resumes or any other unsolicited candidate information submitted to the Company or any of its employee-owners by staffing agencies, search firms, or third-party recruiters in response to a posted vacancy.
