Maintenance Supervisor
Type: Direct Hire
Location: Chester, SC – Fiberglass Plant
Pay Range:
$105k - $115k/Annum
MUST HAVES:
Prior maintenance supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
5+ years of manufacturing experience.
Strong leadership skills, including supervising, coaching, motivating, and directing maintenance teams.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Experience coordinating maintenance activities to support equipment reliability, production needs, and minimal downtime.
Ability to work in a high-temperature manufacturing environment, lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights, and perform physical tasks safely.
DAY TO DAY:
Supervise daily maintenance activities, assign work, monitor progress, and ensure timely task completion.
Coordinate maintenance personnel, contractors, and production teams to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs; use the CMMS for work orders, scheduling, and tracking.
Troubleshoot equipment issues, coordinate repairs, identify failure trends, and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Support capital projects, equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
Enforce safety, housekeeping, environmental, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Maintain plant infrastructure, including fire protection and security systems, and ensure accurate maintenance records.
Train, coach, and develop maintenance team members while communicating with operations, engineering, and management.
Maintain reliable attendance and respond to emergencies as needed.
Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM; must respond to emergencies as needed
PLUSSES:
Experience with CMMS systems, preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance programs.
Experience supporting capital projects, equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
Familiarity with applicable standards and regulations, including SC OSHA, EPA, SC DHEC, NFPA, NEC, and FM standards.
