Our holistic model also extends assistance to shelter, energy, weatherization, HIV and AIDS counseling, home visits, and mobile medical/dental clinics.Position Highlights:$28.76 - $ 35.24 DOE with the ability to go higher for highly experienced candidates100% employer-paid health insurance including medical, dental, vision, Rx, and 24/7 telemedicineProfit sharing & 403(b) retirement plan availableGenerous PTO, 8 paid holidays, and much more!What You'll Do:Ensure that assigned buildings, grounds, and other designated areas are properly serviced and maintained in accordance with established guidelinesEnsure specified equipment items are properly serviced and maintained, including HVAC units and Maintenance Department vehiclesImplement and administer the corporate?wide Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic (YVFWC) Facility Utilities System program and the Facilities Operations and Maintenance program for each siteMonitor and inspect all assigned facilities, working closely with the Janitorial Supervisor or appropriate janitorial service vendors to assess operations for a clean, safe environmentPrioritize and implement service requests. Monitor project schedules and notify local staff of project status, operational inconveniences, and relocation schedulesDevelop and implement work schedules, including on?call schedules for all maintenance staff, to guarantee appropriate staffing coveragePerform general maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, light electrical work, and light cement masonry, in accordance with state and federal safety standardsCoordinate services and work programs with Facilities Management staffCertify that the work and documentation for all safety inspections align with Corporate StandardsCoach, mentor, and train direct?report staff. Assess staff competencies, provide continuous performance management, and conduct employee performance evaluations. Address performance and behavior issues by clarifying expectations and providing feedbackSupport staff growth and development. Assess the educational and communication needs of maintenance and janitorial staff and encourage participation in educational and job?related training opportunitiesParticipate in the recruitment and selection of staff. Provide orientation outlining job requirements, expectations, policies, procedures, and proper use of tools and equipmentPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)Four years' experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, mechanical systems and/or construction related field. This includes two years of supervisory experienceFirst Aid certification within 90 days of hireForklift operator's license preferredValid Driver's License and proof of automobile liability insurance coverageEffective verbal, written and listening communication skillsSkills in logical reasoning, problem-solving, sound judgement and conflict resolutionAbility to prioritize work and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, with the potential for frequent interruptionsAbility to coordinate projects with vendors and various teams within the organizationAbility to effectively interact with a variety of employees in a professional mannerKnowledge of the correct and safe usage of assorted cleaning chemicals used in janitorial dutiesAbility to use maintenance trade equipment and toolsPossesses carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC skills to perform general maintenance in accordance with state/federal safety standards and within the regulations of Federal/State/Local building codesAbility to read and understand construction documents such as "As-Build" drawings and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manualsBasic proficiency with a variety of computer programs including Word and ExcelOur Mission Statement"Together we transform our communities through compassionate, individualized care, eliminating barriers to health and well-being."Our mission celebrates inclusivity.
