Maintenance Technician III

What You'll Do
As a Maintenance Technician III, you will be a trusted technical resource responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production and facility equipment. Your expertise will help maximize uptime, improve reliability, and ensure a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, heating, and cooling systems
Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
Install, maintain, and modify electrical systems, conduit, controls, and power distribution equipment
Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, motors, and industrial control systems
Repair and maintain pumps, gearboxes, compressors, blowers, valves, reducers, seals, and rotating equipment
Develop and improve preventive maintenance programs
Participate in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and continuous improvement initiatives
Support plant reliability and machine uptime goals
Provide technical recommendations to improve equipment performance, safety, and efficiency
Train and mentor teammates on equipment and maintenance best practices
Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment status effectively
Support daily housekeeping and maintain a clean, organized work area
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Qualified as a Maintenance Technician II or equivalent experience
4-7 years of industrial multi-craft maintenance experience
Strong commitment to workplace safety
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Intermediate computer skills
Technical Expertise
Electrical systems (single-phase and three-phase)
480V industrial power distribution systems
NFPA 70E and arc-flash safe work practices
Mechanical systems and rotating equipment
Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
PLC troubleshooting
Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
Pipefitting and fabrication
Industrial maintenance shop equipment and machinery
Lockout/Tagout (Lock, Tag, Clear, Try) procedures
Process heating and cooling systems
Building systems including HVAC, lighting, and fire alarm systems

Physical Requirements
Stand and walk for extended periods
Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds safely
Bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and work in varying positions
Work in hot, cold, dusty, and industrial manufacturing environments
Work rotating 8-hour or 12-hour shifts as required
Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment regularly
