Join Our Team as a Maintenance Technician Apprentice
Are you passionate about hands-on work and eager to learn new skills in the field of engineered systems maintenance? Engineered Systems in the Charleston, SC area is seeking a Maintenance Technician Apprentice to join our team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are dedicated, hardworking, and looking to kickstart their career in the maintenance industry.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist experienced technicians with routine maintenance tasks
Learn and apply basic troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve equipment issues
Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on various crane systems
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times
Attend training sessions to further develop technical skills
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong skills in mechanical systems including electrical
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift, push/pull 50lbs routinely and work in different environmental conditions
