WHO WE NEED
You're a self-motivated maintenance technician who can manage routine maintenance and repairs across our downtown parking facilities. You'll work with a maintenance crew responsible for cleanliness, equipment upkeep, and general facility maintenance across multiple parking decks and lots, taking ownership of your work area and assigned tasks.
Daily Maintenance:
Sweep, pressure wash, and clean parking decks and surfaces (year-round)
Operate maintenance equipment: sweepers, pressure washers, gas blowers
Empty trash, remove debris, basic cleanup
Paint lines, poles, signage as directed
Winter: snow/ice removal
Equipment & Repairs:
Inspect gates, barriers, and access equipment; report issues
Basic repairs: replace damaged hardware, light bulbs, fixtures
Help with barrier and gate arm repairs
Keep maintenance logs
WHO YOU ARE
Required:
1+ year manual labor, maintenance, janitorial, or grounds work
High school diploma/GED preferred but not required
Valid driver's license
Ability to stand/walk long hours, lift 50+ lbs, work in all weather
Reliable and show up on time
Preferred:
Any garage, parking, or facilities maintenance experience
Comfort operating power tools and equipment
Local knowledge of downtown Boise
Skills:
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Problem-solving mindset
Pay attention to safety and detail
Self-motivated; can work unsupervised
