Job Description:
The Maintenance Technician ensures the safety, functionality, and comfort of healthcare and residential facilities. This role supports operational continuity and helps maintain a safe, welcoming environment for patients, residents, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities:
* Respond to unanticipated facility needs to minimize risk and service disruption.
* Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of buildings, systems, and equipment
* Ensure compliance with safety procedures and applicable codes
* Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across multiple disciplines
* Maintain inventory and documentation of parts and repairs
* Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergencies
* Attend training sessions
Requirements/Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED
* Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
* Strong critical thinking and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Effective communication with coworkers, residents, families, and contractors
* Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform maintenance tasks
* Education High School Diploma/GED
