Job DescriptionJob DescriptionProperty Maintenance Technician
Facilities Maintenance Corp. (FMC) is hiring an experienced Property Maintenance Technician to handle general repairs, preventive maintenance, and work orders throughout a large residential community.
This is a hands-on position for someone who can work independently, troubleshoot problems, and handle a wide variety of maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities
General carpentry and handyman repairs
Door, lock, gate, fence, and hardware repairs
Minor drywall, concrete, paver, and cabinet repairs
Painting, staining, graffiti removal, and pressure washing
Minor plumbing repairs including faucets, toilets, valves, sinks, and leaks
Replace bulbs, ballasts, and photocells
Perform minor electrical troubleshooting
Maintain clubhouses, fitness areas, restrooms, pool areas, playgrounds, gazebos, pavilions, and common areas
Inspect and maintain roof drains, gutters, outdoor furniture, playground equipment, and exterior structures
Install signs and holiday decorations
Assist with community events and minor moving
Complete and update assigned work orders
Provide photos and repair recommendations as needed
Emergency Response
Must be able to assist with emergency maintenance issues.
Storm damage
Safety hazards
Other urgent property maintenance issues
Qualifications
Previous property maintenance, handyman, or building maintenance experience
Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
Experience with basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting
Ability to work independently and manage multiple work orders
Valid driver's license and good driving record
Professional, dependable, and responsive
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Able to perform physical maintenance work and lift/move equipment and materials
