Position Details:

4 day -10hr shift Monday - Thursday, 5:30AM – 4:15PM

What You Will Do:

Perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of the plant’s business goals and objectives.

Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service

Utilize electrical and mechanical skill sets to maintain CNC and other manufacturing equipment involving, but not limited to, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, bearings, pumps, gearboxes, motors/motor controls, wiring/circuits, and PLCs (basics).

Perform Preventive and Predictive Maintenance on CNC machines and equipment and ensure timely completion using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Execute regular work orders assigned by Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Analyze breakdowns for possible root causes and identify solutions to prevent in the future

Actively support spare parts inventory minimizing downtime while reducing costs

Ensure compliance of safety program while performing work

Support lean activities both within the Manufacturing Services department and across the organization

Perform all other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

5 years of experience in manufacturing environment.

3 years of experience in electrical and mechanical repairs and troubleshooting of industrial equipment including CNC machines (Mazak, Okuma, Doosan)

Strong working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, vacuum systems, machine controls and PLC controllers.

Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and diagrams.

Good computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and CMMS software.

Excellent organizational, verbal, written, communication and customer service skills.

Ability to multi-task.

Solid working knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.

Highly disciplined, problem-solver, logical thinking, troubleshooting team player with strong work ethic.

Commitment to work overtime as needed (e.g. last-minute repairs, weekends).

Maintain appropriate levels of daily attendance, initiative and productivity.

Driven, self-starter and dedicated to safety, quality, and continual process improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

Electrical / mechanical knowledge of Okuma , Mazak , and Doosan CNCs. (2, 3 and 5 axis)

Technical/ Vocational School

PLC programming experience

Experience in the Oil & Gas Industry

Color contrast eye examinations are required to be completed at the employer’s discretion or due to requirement to ensure team members maintain optimal visual acuity, which is crucial for accurate performance of the responsibilities of this position.

Physical Demands:

The employee is regularly required to stand for the entire workday.

The employee regularly lifts and carries 50 lbs. and occasionally lifts and carries up to 100 lbs. with a partner.

Employee is able to work in confined spaces and at heights.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to pick, feel, and/or inspect material. The employee will also reach with arms and hands as needed.

Role is deemed safety sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
