Maintenance Technician - Fairfax, VA
Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the property's buildings, equipment, and grounds by completing repairs, preventive maintenance, and resident service requests in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
Complete maintenance work orders and service requests.
Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and carpentry repairs.
Conduct preventive maintenance and property inspections.
Prepare vacant units for new residents.
Maintain common areas, amenities, and grounds.
Respond to emergency maintenance issues as needed.
Follow safety procedures and company policies.
Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory.
Qualifications High school diploma or GED.
2+ year of maintenance, facilities, or property management experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license preferred.
Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and work in varying weather conditions.
