If you are a Maintenance Technician looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting position for you! Based in our Chanhassen location, you will work on 2nd Shift (M-TH 3:00PM to 1:30AM) and have an opportunity to apply your troubleshooting skills to perform maintenance and repair of sophisticated production machinery and mechanical equipment.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures
Performing routine preventive maintenance on equipment and systems
Responding to equipment breakdowns by troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems with the goal of minimizing downtime
Documenting work orders and maintaining accurate maintenance records utilizing a CMMS
Installing, modifying, and upgrading equipment as needed
Working cross-functionally with production teams
Maintaining tools, parts inventory, and maintenance supplies
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives

For This Role, You Will Need:
Associate's Degree in Automatic Systems and Robotics, Electronics Technology or related
Ability to work 1st shift hours
Experience with measuring and hand tools
Legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
Maintenance or job-related experience
Enjoys problem solving and troubleshooting activities to fix or repair equipment
Strong mechanical, electrical aptitude highly preferred

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $54,000-$65,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
