Job description
Maintenance Technician
To perform general maintenance and repair duties throughout the facility. To learn and understand technical and production operations. To execute preventive maintenance work orders on facility-related items and develop and understand the overall maintenance scope. Assist other areas of the facility as needed. Know and adhere to all GMP guidelines.
Essential Job Duties:
Execute preventative maintenance on engines, motors, conveyor systems, and production machines.
Control production downtime by informing production workers of routine and preventative maintenance requirements.
Fabricate repair parts, as necessary
Provide mechanical maintenance information through requests and answering questions
Support facility maintenance as assigned by supervisor
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with company safety procedures
Follow Lock out Tag out procedures daily
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Maintenance Technician will keep the maintenance area clean of debris at all times.
Cross train in other areas of the company for fill in or other assignments when needed.
Answers two-way radio calls from assigned production department in timely manner in order to ensure production efficiency.
