Maintenance Technician
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Maintenance Technicians for a manufacturing company in Rogers, MN. In this role, you'll help keep production equipment running efficiently through preventive maintenance and repairs while supporting a safe and productive work environment. What You'll Do as a Maintenance Technician:
Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment
Troubleshoot electrical, motor, and heater circuit issues using schematics and wiring diagrams
Repair equipment by removing and replacing defective parts using hand tools, power tools, hoists, and cranes
Communicate with supervisors to prioritize maintenance and repair needs
Document repairs, maintenance activities, and parts usage in maintenance logs
Maintain company tools and ensure they are properly stored and in working condition
Fabricate repair parts, machine guards, mezzanines, and other equipment using welding and shop equipment
What You Need to Bring to the Maintenance Technician Role:
High school diploma preferred
Minimum of 1 year of relevant maintenance experience
Electrical troubleshooting and repair experience required
Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to understand and follow safety procedures, SOPs, and work instructions
Ability to present information and work effectively with supervisors and team members
