Industrial Maintenance Technician - Injection Molding
Monday-Friday | Manufacturing Environment
Express Employment Professionals is recruiting an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot and repair injection molding equipment and facility systems.
This position requires strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently to keep manufacturing equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Candidates with experience in industrial maintenance, machine repair, electrical troubleshooting, manufacturing equipment or plastics/injection molding machinery may be a strong fit.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and control system issues to minimize equipment downtime
Diagnose machine problems using testing equipment, diagnostic tools and hand tools
Work with DC drives and electrical control systems
Maintain and repair facility systems as needed
Become familiar with a variety of machinery and equipment throughout the facility
Respond to production equipment issues and support ongoing manufacturing operations
Work with production employees and other team members to maintain equipment performance and safety
Follow company safety procedures and industrial maintenance best practices
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong electrical background and troubleshooting ability
Experience maintaining and repairing industrial machinery
Plastics or injection molding equipment experience preferred
Knowledge of DC drives and electrical controls
Experience working with 480-volt electrical systems is highly preferred
Ability to use meters, gauges, testing instruments and diagnostic equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers
Willingness to learn and adapt to different machinery, equipment and facility systems
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Industrial manufacturing environment
Exposure to machinery, noise and varying temperatures
Must be able to stand, lift and perform physical tasks as required
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Pay Range $30-32/hour Based on Experience
Candidates with experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, Machine Maintenance Technician, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic or Electrical Maintenance Technician are encouraged to apply.

PAY & BENEFITS
Express Employment Professionals associates are paid hourly unless otherwise noted. Associates accrue paid sick leave in accordance with Connecticut law.
