Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance Technician on behalf of a client in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. This individual will provide hands-on maintenance expertise to service, repair and maintain process and utility manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment failures, identifying root causes, completing repairs and overhauls, performing equipment setup and alignment, and implementing corrective actions to minimize production downtime. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on equipment repair experience and the ability to effectively support Operations in a production environment. Day-to-Day: -Service, repair and maintain process and utility manufacturing equipment -Troubleshoot equipment failures and identify root causes -Repair/overhaul gearboxes, pumps, blowers, fans, drives and similar equipment -Perform equipment timing, leveling and alignment -Support equipment uptime, line efficiency and overall equipment effectiveness -Document repairs and corrective actions in CMMS -Partner closely with Operations and assist with engineering changes
Skills and Requirements
• High school diploma/GED • Minimum 2 years of automation experience • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on equipment repair experience • Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing root causes of equipment/machine problems • Hands-on experience repairing/overhauling equipment such as gearboxes, pumps, blowers, fans and drives • Experience with equipment setup/alignment, timing and/or leveling • Ability to use basic troubleshooting equipment such as multimeters and calipers • Maximo or similar CMMS experience • Experience with precision alignment equipment such as Rotalign/lasers • Experience supporting process and/or utility manufacturing equipment • Strong team and communication skills
