Job description
Maintenance TechnicianThe Maintenance Technician helps maintain the grounds, facilities, and amenities of the Condominium and reports to the Property Manager. The position ensures that all mechanical systems and equipment are functional and properly maintained in a clean and aesthetically appealing condition. Responsibilities: Reviews and completes work orders assigned by the Community Association Manager. Routinely inspects the community and advises the supervisor of any issues or makes corrections as appropriate. Utilizes and maintains equipment in a proper, safe, and effective manner. Maintains positive working relationships with community staff. Performs painting and touch-up of common areas as needed. Performs general labor, including lifting and moving heavy items as directed by the supervisor. Performs general carpentry and other minor community/building repairs when a permit is not required. Maintains records and other maintenance reports as directed by the supervisor. Reports the need for major repairs to the Community Association Manager/Maintenance Supervisor. Checks and maintains lighting throughout the property. Pressure washes sidewalks, entrances, A/C and heat pump pads, and other areas as necessary to maintain a neat appearance. Maintains applicable recreational amenities, including outdoor gyms and playgrounds. Ensures all safety precautions and procedures are followed in compliance with OSHA guidelines and requirements. Performs other duties as assigned by the Community Association Manager Full schedule: Monday- Friday 7am-4pm Pay Rate: $20-$22 PLEASE DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU ARE MORE THAN 30 MINUTES FROM THE DANIA BEACH AREA.Skills & Qualifications:Must be a self-starter and able to accomplish duties without constant supervision.Must pass a drug screening and background check.
