Position Summary

As a Maintenance Technician, your role, in the bigger picture, is to manage the preventative and predictive maintenance to improve the functionality and safe working order of our manufacturing equipment and machinery. You will handle projects that span electrical, mechanical and automation maintenance challenges. This position will be scheduled for an off shift (2nd or 3rd shift). Troubleshoot and repair plant systems including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation

Repair gear reducers, belt and screw conveyors, chain elevators, and packaging equipment

Use test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators

Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on general plant electrical equipment such as starters, PLCs, start/stop stations, motors (up to 480V)

Understanding of measurement and testing devices and mechanical systems

Demonstrate good working knowledge of electrical diagrams and/or circuits and utilize during troubleshooting

Intermediate understanding of PLCs, ability to access program for troubleshooting purposes (would not be expected to program PLCs)

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent

1+ years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, technical, military, or related environment OR 2 Year Technical Degree

Pay: $42.19 - $47.97 per hour

Bonus Eligibility: Yes

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
